About Me…
I am a wife, mother and grandmother! My husband and I have been married for 34 years and we have two children, a son and a daughter. Our daughter has one child, our grandson, who holds our hearts hostage in the best way! Soon there will another little one, Baby Alexander, to bring even more happiness to our family!
This school year will be my third year at Chattahoochee High School after being a middle school Business Education teacher for 15 years. I have earned 3 degrees thus far in my career as a Business Education instructor:
Bachelor of Business Management – Georgia State University
Masters in Business Education – University of Georgia
Educational Specialist in Curriculum & Instruction – Lincoln Memorial University
Teaching is a second career path for me, I spent 20 years in the corporate sector in the field of Risk Management. During these years, I worked with my daughter as her Girl Scout leader for 12 years and decided that I would prefer to have a more hands-on role in the development of our youth so I became a teacher. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life! I look forward to imparting not only our course content, but life lessons and reality to my students that will serve them as they mature into young men and women.
